ABOUT ARCHIVE
A helluva nice clubhouse for cyclists to enjoy.
Archive is a 225m² warehouse with some good history. The steel bones belonged to AC Cars as their workshop at Brooklands Raceway. In the 80s it was dismantled and rebuilt where it stands today. More recently, it was a document archive. See where this is going?
When you break the name down, it has some nice connotations; (Noah’s) Arc and a (Bee) Hive are both places of refuge from (British) weather and for the preservation and development of (cycling) culture. Both are a home, temporary or otherwise.
Any fine clubhouse is united by a common hobby, good entertainment, great food and drink and a well equipped shop to support the hobby in question.
Speciality coffee and fresh food? Check. Cycling on a 4m screen? They’ve got it. Premium mechanical support and custom build service? Here. Curated gift shop? You bet.
So, If you feel like drinking some coffee, getting your bike serviced and making some good friends in the process, then The Archive is the place for you.
